Rather than protest against what they call the 1%’ers, they need to turn their attention to D.C. After all, it is the politicians that feel they are better than us and espouse the “do as I say, not as I do” mantra.
For example, in the latest going on in the governmental attempt to deny 2nd ammendment rights, it’s not everyone that should be denied a weapon, just all those that are not politicians:
Not everyone will have to abide by Senator Dianne Feinstein’s gun control bill. If the proposed legislation becomes law, government officials and others will be exempt.
“Mrs. Feinstein’s measure would exempt more than 2,200 types of hunting and sporting rifles; guns manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; and weapons used by government officials, law enforcement and retired law enforcement personnel,”
So, OWS, go protest in D.C. against the true 1% and do something useful for once.

I hate to tell you this…
In a report out by the Washington Examiner regarding the attempted mass murder by a homosexual activist at the Family Research Council headquarters on August 15, 2012 the gunman, Floyd Lee Corkins II pleaded guilty to three counts including domestic terrorism. His intent was to “kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard.”
What is revealing is the admission he picked his targets from a map of “hate groups” generated from the Left wing organization The Southern Poverty Law Center. In addition he had the names and locations of four socially conservative organizations. Though using the criteria of this group it should include most Christian, and Jewish temples of worship as well as other religions and organizations who oppose the legalization of homosexual marriage as that is all that is required to be labeled a “hate group.”
Now where have I heard this before?
Sarah Palin and her crosshairs district map became the reason d’etre in addition to “Right wing talk radio”, “white, racist, classist, homophobic, sexist, gun loving, bible, thumping red necks”, “The Tea Party”, “Republicans”, and “Conservatives” in regards to the Gaby Giffords assassination attempt. Oh and I forgot to include “xylophones.”
Considering the endless caterwauling for “responsible speech”, “an end to Right wing extremist language”, “the creation of safe spaces” and the ever vacuous “hate speech is not real speech” by the Left, the scions of media and their acolytes in the digital empyrean I question if they will now make the same request of this organization as it appears to have inspired an actual act of violence? And will the Southern Poverty Law Center now remove this map?
Pardon me I have to go and play my xylophone.
